When Steve’s grandfather Roland MacFarlane Clarkson came over to the U.S. from Greenock, Scotland, he brought more than his clan’s knack for embellished storytelling and tall tales. The family tartan made it across the Atlantic, as well, and for our tenth anniversary we wanted to celebrate our heritage by paying homage to the great man himself. Much like Grandpa Clarkson, our pedigree ties are born in the United Kingdom – woven in a centuries old English mill that ol’ Roland himself probably had a few ties from.
